Lowland native forest

Explore forest layers, canopy, understory and life around fallen wood.

These 23 environments are proposed player-facing categories, not an authoritative scientific ecosystem classification.

Content gaps and potential Field missions
  • Documented habitat and species photographs for lowland native forest, with capture context and reuse permission.
  • Authentic ecological relationships and process examples; identifications and interpretations need review.

Online participants can help research sources and describe what is missing. Field participants can contribute original captures with context and permissions. These are suggested missions, not submitted requests.

Lowland native forest is the working demonstration. Kahikatea swamp forest and pastoral farmland / farm margins are enrichment priorities.
